BOM Meeting: May 2017
The following is the agreed report from the Board of Management meeting that took place on May 30th.
- The new Autism Class has been sanctioned and will open in September 2017
- The school has been given a grant to investigate the sewerage system and to upgrade some toilets.
- A new Code of Behaviour policy was ratified.
- The Enrolment Policy for the school was updated.
BOM meeting: February 2017
The following is the agreed report from a Board of Management meeting that took place on February 27th 2017:
Agreed Report:
- We anticipate approval for the opening of a new Autism class in Sept 2017.
- We received a grant from ICT and are currently looking at using it to install WIFI throughout the school/ taking into account a possible new build to facilitate autism class.
- Policy on Leave of Absence for staff members was ratified

BOM end of year report 2015 – 16
BOM Meeting, December 2015
The first meeting of the new Board of Management was held in the school on December 1st. The following roles were assigned:
Chairperson: Martin McGowan
Treasurer: Aisling MacShera
Safety Officer: Pascal Gillard
Secretary: Máirín O’Keeffe
Recording Secretary: Regina McLoughlin
The Board discussed the concerns regarding the crossing and the car park outside the school and agreed to continue to campaign for improved safety measures by lobbying councillors and politicians.
Board of Management 2015 – 2019
The new Board of Management of the school is as follows:

- Patron’s representative 2: Fr. Frankie Murray
- Parents’ representative 1: Paschal Gillard
- Parents’ representative 2: Aisling MacShera
- Community representative: Stella Kehoe
- Community representative: Enda McGloin
- Teachers’ representative 1: Regina McLoughlin
- Teachers’ representative 2: Máirín O’Keeffe
Following the first Board of Management meeting (December 1), the members will be assigned different roles on the Board.

The Board of Management meets at least once a term – no less than five times annually to oversee the running of the school. An annual report regarding the work of the Board will be issued at the end of each school year – this was decided at the board meeting in September of this year.
